15411 - P-40E AK940 - 15411 has this under Bob Diemert, Carman MAN 11.69/70 then to William Anderson, Geneseo NY .70

This is the Banta machine

There is also an 'unknown' P-40 under Diemert

? P-40E (to RCAF as ? ) static restoration
project using wings purchased in CA, T-6 tailplane,
rear fuse ex Bolingbroke, Merlin & cowlings from
Avro York: engine runs, displ. in RCAF scheme
at antique shop) Bob Diemert, Carman MAN 82/87

it then adds... (probably connected with AK863/N7205A above)

I think this last bit is a mistake/typo..

However, it is should probably be connected 15134 P-40E AK753 N4420K with Ron J. Fagen as this states

"composite restoration in Canada using Bolingbroke rear fuseage Harvard tail, Merlin engine, reported flew as such: but AK753 not to RCAF: USCR quotes id. "AK75315134")"

So the issues are:

a) What is the correct ID as AK753 is not an ex RCAF machine?

b) I remember a P-40 crashing that was linked to Diemert was it one of the above or another? - The second one does seem likely as it is 'reported to have flown' as such
