I am sorry that you witnessned such a tragic event. Remember that most airplane crashes are pilot error. Dont blame the plane. If valauble pieces of history were destroyed because someone died in them, many warbirds would not be flying today or be in museums either. New pilots can be found every day to fly airplanes, but these airplanes are irreplaceable. These warirds are relics that must be saved for future generations. We cant have the attitude of wanting to destroy a piece of history that doesnt even belong to us. That is identical to our governments attitude towards preserving history. We can honor the dead even by restoring their means of demise.
Remember,
All men will die, but not all men truly live.
