Brunty is privately owned and run...

The reason they are buying the Vulcan as before it was owned privately and the Heritage Fund ssaw the restoration as being for a Private rather than Public aircraft and this was one of the reasons for the rejection for the grant

That is why they are buying it and placing it in a trust..

Obviously, there was a bit on the application form that said.. Please tick here if the plane is going on display in a private or public museum.. They obviouslly thought opps.. We better say public, so need a public museum for it. Duxford is the obvious choice (even if they have one already)

what would be logical (in not a logical nightmare) is a swap of the IWM one to Brunty.. But if there are 2 at Duxford at least they have more shelters in the rain!

I personally thibnk Shuttlewqorth would be a good location!

Just wait for the landing on the grass runway! and theyt can part the old ones under the wing.. This last bit is tougue in cheek!!
