Seriously, most major UK Museums and several smaller ones already have a Vulcan so once '558's flying career (should it ever get of the ground) it would be sensible to leave it at Bruntingthorpe, were it could, I assume, still be operated on fast taxi runs, once its flying career is finally over!
As for returning a Victor to the air, should '558's Lottery Application be successful, maybe we'll see a Lottery Application for either XL231 at Elvington or XM715 at Bruntingthorpe.
Both are capable of being taxied but what is needed to return either to airworthy status, I do not know!
Ideas anybody?
(*) before I get shot down, this is said tongue in cheek.
