Absolutely amen to those two; I'd add five others (though two of them, for different reasons, never appeared other than before the media during preshow promos)...

Kalamazoo/USN "Cat Flight"
Ellis/Snodgrass F7F/F-14 demo
Sean Tucker (Pitts Challenger)/three Robinson helos
B-17/LB-30/B-29/Lancaster at HIAS 93 (weathered-out; seen only on Thurs media day)
Sabre (Rossi)/F-104s (Starfighters team)/CF-18 at Trenton 99 (seen only on media day...why oh why...! but at least it made the TV news...)
