While looking for info on the Beriev Be-6 "Madge", I bumped into this fellow's site wherein he discusses his trip to the Chinese Aviation Museum north of Beijing. He dismisses the derelict Il-2/Il-10s in front of the Il-18s as "scrap"... another shot shows three Curtiss C-46s and in the background of that pic, the tails of at least two B-29/Tu-4s.
Suppose some enterprising Westerner with a working knowledge of Chinese might be able to do business with these folks?
