Just had a short conversation with Mr. George; he is asking $3500 for what will be left of the MiG (looks like a Polish LiM)15, he will basically "chop" the cockpit for a display, and the remains will be either sold to the best offerer, or smelted.
He indicated some damage to the airframe during a take off accident, but states that the airframe is basically sound; engine is there, so are the wings, tailplane, etc. The airplane is located in Arkansas. He said: make me an offer, If I don't like it, I can always say no.
So, there you have it.
I don't have $3500 to store them for a long time in an airframe that is not going anywhere near flying for a long time.
Saludos,
Tulio -without the 3500
