The points in Paul's text look valid enough to me, this would put most warbirds that have had major rebuilds in the authentic category (including MH434 I think, personally) I assume, seeing as all the Mag rivets (which were originally used) would have to be replaced, if they hadn't already fallen out that is. If the aircraft has has a major rebuild in the past then the norm is for complete re-skinning, what would this do for it's authenticy?

P.S. We have found three different serials on different parts of the Spit wing during it's rebuild, I'm currently tyring to find out if any of these bits were part of an aircraft with combat history. So far we have a mkII serial and two mkV serials, iiiiinteresting.....
