How about this Spit???

You guys are good. No doubt about it so how about this one.
I was given the album of a chap from Oregon who flew in the RAF 1941-41 before transfering to the AAF and the 52nd FG where he was KIA on Feb 4, 1943. In the album he is show by his Spit (MK II or V) SK*L. What unit is this? If anyone wants a scan of this or some other good ones let me know. Glad to share.
