Hi All,

The P-38 at Clark were taken to the North end of the old east-west runway and dumped into a rather large pit and then buried. In the early 50's the USAF build a ready alert pad for the BUFFS and in the 60's put up three alert hangers.

When the USA pulled out of Clark in the 90's they demolished the Alert Hangers and the ground was covered along with most of Clark field with 6 to 9 inchs of Volcanic ash.

There has been many atempts by variuos groups to go and look for these planes but the PAF will not let anyone have permission. (Still have some Commy problems).

Cheers Rob
