I spoke to a senior management official at the National Museum yesterday and he described the situation as "speculation at present"

But the story gets better as each day passes. Two weeks ago they were in metal boxes taken up there by slave labour. Now its roting wooden boxs taken from a crashed plane.

Please note: the story is two weeks old, its just broken in the press, everyone from the Prime Minister down is involved and not one gold bar has yet been sighted.
