The Spitfire is MK IX MK912. It was bought by Ed Russell of Fonthill, Ontario. The aircraft is still located in Duxford England. Interestingly he also bought a Harvard II and this has recently been deregistered in the UK as exported to another country, presumably Canada. More info here from Historic Flying the previous owners of the aircraft.
