Mike

Jim Bates who frequents the forum said he saw it , along with a Spit XVI, back in the days it was called the 'National Warplane Museum' . It was unrestored [ originally came from storage at the Victory Museum , Illinois ] and there was the DB engine nearby in a crate.
It is listed in all surveys I have seen as being owned by them , but may be off the museum site , or perhaps stored.
The French 208 apparantly came from Harold Kindsvater in return for some Buchon parts for his airworthy restoration..don't know the origins of the Noord 108 though.
A bit of a mystery as to where the Buchon [ and the Spit] went.
[ although I am sure Peter A knows about the latter ;-)]
