I was wondering what mark of Griffon that the airworthy Spit's currently have fitted.
I understand that the PR Mk XIX's may all have modified 58's with a reduction gear swap mod plus a bit of crankcase machining.
What do the XIV's and XVIII's have fitted? Are there any genuine correct Griffons fitted i.e. non-contra prop conversions, not quite sure of the correct marks.
How easy is it to get single prop Griffon's and spares?
How much for a ground runnable Griffon? :-)
