At th Aerojumble at Shoreham this week end I picked up a Canopy farme plate form a Brewster Bermuda 1. I understand that the Fleet Air Arm had 5 delivered 1943 all to Boscombe Down for testing. The plate though has 'SHAWBURY 1979' written the back though. I was wondering if one of these aircraft existed until then or not and why was the decision made to scrap an aircraft of this rarity, only just over 20 years ago. Its not as if its that big and there is now only one aircraft in America? Any ideas??
Thanks Matt
