Oops...I hit the follow up button a bit to early there.

Do remember that the RAF and USAAF used the Bermuda over here. About 750 Bermudas were supplied through Lend-Lease. I find it hard to believe that there was one still kicking about in 1979 so the chances are that it is (A) a canopy that was still in store at that time or (B) Not from a Bermuda.
