I'm rooting for her too and I do think it is a shame that this happened again but I'm pretty positive about it. She could've come out of that bellying ten times worse. Shoot after seeing the end result of our A-26 crash, this is considered extremely good news. But yes I do think it is a shame however she will be back no doubt and in hopefully a short amount of time.
Rob, I had no idea she was one of three -5NLs. Is she the only one with combat history? The radome will eventually go back on her. It was torn off during the first crash so that means a new one will have to be built. You don't happen to know of any complete APS-6(?) radar units do you?
