Andy:

The picture I have comes out of the Collected material on 1190 that Peter Foote compiled. It seems that Col J?? had his aircraft dolled up to look like that of 1190. The picture I have was taken in NJ somewhere sitting next to a house with the wings on. Carrying the same paint as 1190, as Peter states it confused alot of people.

He was located near the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, just next to Aberdeen, Maryland and it appears that he couldn't find a buyer for the aircraft. He later sold it for $100 for scrap to a local dealer. Would love to find the WrK no. for it though.

Contacting the localing museums in the area for any infromation or photos on this individual and/or aircraft.

Any way you could post those pics or email them. Working on putting up a "page" of some sort to document the history of these aircraft in Canada. Finding alot of material on them and it is a pitty it is sitting in archived boxes.
