Probably no story. The CAF guys sometimes do that as part of the Tora! Tora! Tora! show reenactments. I've seen it done before. Supposed to be one of the B-17 flight that was coming in during the Pearl Harbor Raid.
One of the CAF guys mentions learning to do this on this page:

Use the find method ctrl+f and type in "one wheel". That will take you right to the relevant place.
