: Terrible tragedy! What a tremendous loss. I had spent some time @ Oshkosh looking at the H1. I absoultely could not believe the sheetmetal work! Incredible. I could not believe the skin joints and how perfectly they were butted together. In many areas you could barely see a skin joint line. I feel so sorry for the family and friends of all involved with that masterpiece. It is curious to note on the right wing leading edge I noticed what appeared to be some "ugly" erosion damage directly on the leading edge. It almost appeared that the protective finish had worn away and the wood had eroded away possibly from flying in rain?? I guess time will tell.
