Living just a short trip down the freeway from Cottage Grove Airport, I was able to see it a number of times while it was under construction. It was truly and work of art and a labor of love for the whole crew. Seeing it in the air was an amazing experence. Sort of like a time machine.
This is like losing a piece of history besides the loss of a great pilot.
