A very Big surprise - well to me anyway

Hi everyone

I was just at an industry presentation in a new cable project across parts of the North Pacific and was VERY surprised to see that amongst the survey presentation of some of the obstacles discovered, a very large four engined bomber!!!

I of course pontificated that it was a B29 and it was probably crashed going to or coming from Tinan / Japan or so I though. Then I had a good look - this is not a B29 some of the Wing/ Fuse / engine config is not quite right. So Me thinks these chaps have stumbled on a much rarer Consolidated product. The only problem is it is thousands of miles from nowhere and at a very astronomic depth so I think that despite its condition appearing to be pristine apart from bent forward? Props it is likely to remain there.

I am getting a copy of the video and will put up some stills and bring a copy of the video to the UK in September when I am over there for any interested takers. No markings obvious at first glance.
