Although there are still a few tradesmen skilled in aircraft woodwork, it's a dying art.

To be granted a CASA Licence on aircraft wooden structures, (Group 3) one needs 120 hours minimum experience, which doesn't sound like a lot, but can be hard to get if there isn't anybody where you live doing this type of work.
