Condolences to the families..
Is it not time that these older aircraft albeit well maintained are pulled from this job?? The stress on the wings and spars must be very high on the pullout.
Wouldnt there be a market for an aircraft manufacturer to purpose build a fire fighting aircraft from scratch?
