Also, the local news recently ran a story about a Ford Trimotor that's under restoration to fly near Goldsboro, NC (home of Seymore Johnson AFB.)

In addition to Peddycord (which has a nice, privately-owned airworthy collection), there's the CAF Carolinas Wing in Southern Pines, NC.

As far as SC, wasn't there a B-25 (or multiple B-25s) pulled from a lake there in recent years? And, didn't SC decide to keep them and restore them to static?
