Hi Eric!

I managed to meet up with Steve Tournay on Sunday around noon. We spent the majority of the afternoon sitting under the starboard wing of the Belle. Catherine (my wife) kept an eye on our camera stuff while Steve and I would run out to get a shot of something interesting. We were looking for you, but figured you were busy working (having a blast). We will have to try and connect up at Willow Run in August.

I must agree with your assessment of the show. Despite the numbers of aircraft lacking they do try very hard to put on a good show, and they were successful. The pass by the Belle were very impressive. The two Mustangs, Miss Marilyn II and Donald were stunning (I think Mustang and stunning is redundant though). The Harvards put on an amazing display, and I have to agree with Steve that they just keep getting better and better. There was also an impressive R/C aircraft display, especially an Extra 300 model that could litterly hover while standing on it's prop. However, the real capper for me was the Spit. Finally I have seen a Spitfire fly!

For anyone that didn't make it, or has been thinking about attending, the Geneseo show has a very nice atmosphere and the organizers work hard to entertain you. I would give this year's show a 8.5 out of 10. The only reason it is not 10 is due to the lack of aircraft that was able to attend.

Regards,

Mike
