It was the Jaguar D type that I had in mind. The D comprises a square section tubular welded short front chassis assembly attached to the main aluminium monococque 'tub'section. You might think that the identity logically was the tub but the works plate is attached to the tubular frame and this is vulnerable to race damage and can be replaced. I believe a bent and discarded tubular section from a famous car was straightened and repaired and then attached to a new tub. Difficult one.
