This has to be one of the most exciting and significant announcements of recent years. I am delighted the remains represent a 'Very achievable' project, and look forward to further news. The Gamecock was the last 'All wood' fighter aircraft to enter service with the RAF, and seems to have been highly regarded by the pilots of the time. At least one was exported to the USA for evaluation, I have a copy of the report.

I'ts my understanding the the surviving Finnish airframes are licence built "Kukko's," that are structurally different from the Gloster design. Is this correct?

I can understand the current owners desire to maintain a low profile, but a little more information would be very welcome. Please could you let us know how complete the remains are, and if an airworthy restoration is planned?
