The Gamecock 'remains' belong to my friend who wishes at the moment to remain in the background. However rather than have aimless speculation it's safe for me to say that the previous owner and the present are very much related.
The machine being built by the Gloster group has been underway by them since the early 1990's and is being built
to an exceptional static condition. I supplied the propellor for her and the engine was rebuilt by RRHT at Bristol.
The cost of building a Gamecock is very large and it will not be undertaken lightly. There is no connection with the museum at Sywell although Matthew Boddington is very likely to be involved in the creation of her. An engine has been sourced and the project as such is very achieveable.
I will keep you posted !
