Silly prices...

Overall the prices being paid were silly....
Two guys were bidding for the Typhoon parts and were determined to get them...talking to the other guys interested in Typhoon parts they were a couple of unknowns (to us anyway).
Not sure where they are going....the gentleman who got the Cockpit (excess of ?4000) also bought the Horsa glider section.
I was bidding on the Tail plane (just had a flak hole in it and it was replaced by the fitters and dumped on the airfield) but when it was up at ?640, the bidder seemed like he would go as high as it takes, I backed out. May be worth a word when I find out who it was!!!
The Halifax wings sections with flak damage went cheaply considering evrything else!!!
