There are no shortage of photos of this Seafire XV. I have six or more taken over the period in various guises including spurious codes. The problem is that the RN serial was removed at or soon after the time of the gifting from HMS Theseus.

p.s. Similiar to yourself no pix have turned up of Seafire 46 LA564 prior to the scrap yard in Carlisle, yet it served with 2nd line RN units post war and gave a Battle of Britain demonstration at Little Rissington in September 1946 where it had been accessible to the public. Indeed one of them was thought to have tampered with the hood emergency release mechanism, as it departed from the airframe shortly after take off (so says the accident card).
