If the Seafire was used for training, it is likely that every student/apprentice took a souvenir photo in the cockpit or next to the old fighters. Perhaps a letter to the appropriate Air Force veterans association might elicit a photo in reply? A long shot, but worth trying - even if 20+ years of attempts have so far failed to turn up a photo of "my "beloved Spitfire IX in Italian colours ... Right, Peter?
