Lack of decent DB605 motors... an answer?

Has any one tried asking Crossthwaite & Gardiner what they might charge to build one (or more) of these or a Jumo213?
This is the English engineering company that re-created various of the Auto Union Silver Arrows racing cars from the `30s, most recently the Streamlined AU that was at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This included the 2 stage supercharged V16 engines. From what I remember these sounded rather more complex than the DB motor - the crank was a pressed together roller bearing unit rather than a forging and I think they said that the rotating assembly contained over 1000 pieces all together! Their normal business is making up parts for Historic racing cars. If someone puts a con rod through the block of their Bugatti or whatever, and the parts aren`t available then they can come to these guys to put it right. They even "distress" newly machined items to make them look like the original castings!
I assume that they would want a complete unit to copy or drawings ( do these exist? ). They don't seem to have a web site, maybe someone in England could phone them for a chat?
Just an idea but Im pretty sure they could do it. What do you think?
Cheers, James
