Yes ,it did have RWB stripes.
When you check the shades of grey and white against the roundels and fin stripe, it is obvious what they are.
A b/w pic appeared in a Peter Arnold article in Flypast years ago, but not to worry.......
the same pic is in "Spitfire Flying Legend" by John Dibbs and Tony Holmes....your boss is flying AR in some of the pics....although you ought to ask the owners of AR really.......they have just GOT to have copies of the photo in their files!
