The Nov. 2002 issue of Aeroplane ran a brief news item on the Clive du Cros Spitfire prototype replica. It is now in K5054's camouflage scheme, and used as a non-flying, travelling exhibit by the Southampton Hall of Aviation. Sad that it doesn't fly anymore, but nice to see it back in the public eye. There were a couple photos of the Arizona-based, V-1710 powered Spitfire replica in the April/May 2000 issue of Classic Wings magazine. The accompanying text didn't give much detail though as far as owner, expected first flight, etc. Hope this helps. Jim
