2nd attempt to recover "Kee Bird"?

I ran across the US Airpower Museum website and their pitch to recover the substantial remains of "Kee Bird". Are these the same fellas that made the first attempt? I suppose if you had a spare fuselage lying around, the bits that still remain on the ice cap would constitute the makings of an airworthy restoration. Still not sure if the pain from the first attempt has subsided enough to warrant a second go at it. Regardless, I hate to see what's left of her remain abandoned up there.

On a similar note, doesn't Bob Collings have a B-29 in storage somewhere? For a moment I was having pie in the sky visions of "Fifi", "Doc", "Kee Bird", as well as the Kermit Weeks, and Collings(?) B-29's all participating in a WWII 75th anniversary mass flyover along with all of the heavy bombers that frequent the Yankee Air Museum show :):) Ahhh, to dream!

"Kee Bird" recovery Part Deux?
