Hi Rob... interesting information. The flypast article I saw the center section in was definitely at Kissimmee, as the article was all about the Flying Tigers museum (by a guy named Jarrod Cotter). Also, the jig that it occupied was the same gold colored jig that they have at Reilly's place... and that has to be a unique jig. Now, it is always possible that the parts in the jig were not from Hooey's machine, but I swear it said that in the title... I will have to check. This could still tie in with Kevin's machine though, because the jig didn't hold the spar, just the fuselage element of the center section. There really wasn't much to it, just the longerons, and a few frames... like it had just started to be assembled. I had really wanted to get some close up shots of this, as it was really quite fascinating. Anyway, do you have any more shots of Hooey's corsair from August? Hope so, as that shot you posted was very tantalizing.

Cheers,
Richard
