As far as I know nobody is building new spars at present, this is why the people who own spare sets are reluctant to sell them. If someone were to set up production then is would be for a limited production run I would have thought and the person undertaking this would need a wealthy backer or two. If someone wanted to sell thier unwanted spars at present I would expect to see a sum of ?10-?15000 exchange hands. Oh and if Mick reads this I talked briefly to the boss on Friday and he reckons that you would be looking at anywhere between ?40000 for a fairly naff Merlin 45 and ?100000 for a runner.
