Everyone,
It seems like this topic is discussed every other week (just like the dataplate restoration topic).
Question is, are we the entitled to dismiss the ressurection of these aircraft or not. I think not.
In any case there is nothing we can do about it to stop it. The persons or organisations involved who have the means and the intention to restore a wrecked aicraft (half a decade ago or six months ago) are the ones to decide what they are going to do. There are people who dislike such a "restoration", agree with it or do not have an opinion about it, either way this discussion will never be won and there is nothing to be gained from it apart from a very heated debate.
Even with todays prices for even a small amount of Spitfire or Mustang there will be many projects to reconstruct these warbirds for years to come.
Mind you, just my two cents worth
