Hi All,

Let me weight in on what I know as facts.

1) Sometime in the early 90's a group of US wreck searchers went to this location and found three B-25s one was an early model they took the cockpit Data plates which is located on the inside right of just behind the Co-Pilots seat. After taken some photos they came home and did some research. They found that the early model 25 was the Doolittle plane.

2) They approached the Russians for permission to recover this one B-25 and ask the USAFM to help.

Now I do not know what happen to stop the recovery. I do know that the plane does exist I've seen photos of the Data plate. The USAFM does know were it is I believe they are sending out smoke screens so they can make a deal with the Russians.

This would not be the first time the USAFM deniens knowing about a plane and later getting the plane. I'm not bad mouthing the USAFM on this either I just would like to see all the planes recovered.

Cheers Rob
