Was the Confederate Air Force involved in the swamp recovery? SOS - Struck Off as Scrap? If AE977 was a RN Sea Hurricane X and it was badly damaged in a collision, I'm guessing that it happened in UK? How, then, did it end up in a swamp in Newfoundland?!
