If it ended up in a lake 'near Waddington', Fiskerton is certainly near Waddington - it's about 6 miles east of Lincoln and only a few seconds' flying time. I note another web site gives the location as a lake 8 miles East of Lincoln which would be between Fiskerton and Bardney (itself home to an airfield). I don't see any lakes in this
area on current maps though - unless 'lake' is referring to a very small body of water indeed!
