Boy, that really IS something special...

what an amazing sound that must be. Years ago, when I was just out of high school, Fifi and Diamond Lil came to visit Norfolk , and they did a buzz-tour of the area. I was in the garage working on a kit, and I heard this tremendous low-frequency rumble... I went tearing out of the garage just in time to see the 24 and 29 come zooming over the house a few hundred feet up (well, it LOOKED pretty close). The noise was just incredible... something one doesn't easily forget (especially if you're an aircraft nut)
