Since a worn out Spitfire crashed in 1957 or so the Dutch CAA declares any "old" aircraft dangerous, the crash of the DDA Dakota didn'nt help matters either. Surprisingly the Dutch Spirfire MK732 has recently been registered under a PH-registration and there are a few others as well. Don'f know why.
This was also directly the reason why the A-26 Invader "Hard to Get" was finally sold back to the USA again. AFAIK Mustang "Damn Yankee" is flying under a US registration.
