Multiplace P-51

Reading earlier posts about the 3 seat FM-2 got me to thinking about a story I heard from one of my warbird fly'in buddies. He said that at one time Bob Diemert up in Canada lashed together a P-51 and mounted a canopy from a CF-100 on it. He then installed plywood bench seats with ropes the death defying passengers tied together instead of safety belts.
Can anyone confirm or deny this story. Of all the things I've heard about Diemert I tend to believe it.
