You can use an ammonium sulphate solution at a specific ph to leach out the copper ions which couse most of the corrosion - it's the copper in the duralium alloy that causes it to corrode so badly in sea water. Pure aluminium is relatively resistant to corrosion under water.
Anyone wants details let me know.
Cees - if u want to save ur napier you should dump it in this solution for a few months - it's ur best best.
