I would also like to hear from some people who have been involved with this process to see what works and what dosen't. I wonder for example if you had enough of it whether soaking the item in WD40 would work since it supposedly is designed to displace water(water displacement -formula number- 40) or maybe there is another type of solution that works. Or maybe the best result is to soak in in water and just display it that way for however many years it takes to completly comabat the effects of Salt water. Any way look forward to reading peoples comments.
