: omething out. We hope to be open to the public soon. At th
: e moment we are only open one day a year and to groups by
: arrangement. Boscombe Down saw many firsts including first
: flights....when you are bored, name all the aircraft type
: s that first flew from Boscombe Down and of course the onl
: y Fighter Command pilot to be awarded a Victoria Cross in
: the Battle of Britain (and the rest of WW2) won it flying
: form Boscombe.
