A similar question. If i know a certain couple of square miles of forest has a mostly intact fighter aircraft wreckage, can a pattern of overflights on a summer afternoon yield an infrared image from the metal heating up more than the foilage and rocks around it? If so, can this be done with commercially affordable infrared video, or with still photography only? Or is there another medium to best accomplish this, besides Sattelite?
Has anyone tried this before successfully that can outline what they have learned from trial and error?
