TFC Beaufighter

Over the past year, I have seen several posts regarding the problems returning TFC's Beaufighter to the air, due to supply problems with the props/engines.
To overcome these problems, would it be easier(?) to convert the 'frame to accept Merlins, as these of more readily available and if possible, would such a convertion be accepted by the Warbird community.
As a preference, I would prefer to see the Hercules based model, being more indicative of the Beaufighter but should converting to Merlins be possible, this would allow the Beaufighter to be returned to the air relatively quickly, then why not?
